National Philanthropies
Alpha Epsilon Phi has two national philanthropies for which we raise funds each semester: the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric
AIDS Foundation, and Sharsheret.
Elizabeth Glaser, an AEPhi at the University of Wisconsin, Sigma Chapter started the foundation to educate people on the
special issues concerning children with the AIDS virus, and the prevention of pediatic HIV infection.
Sharsheret is a new national philanthropy that AEPhi National is supporting. Hebrew for linked chain, the organization
connects young Jewish women facing breast cancer, by providing them with a support network, information, help, and counseling.
